Cherry Orchard house
Overview
Cherry Orchard House is a three-bed Ofsted registered supported accommodation service, offering a spacious and welcoming home where young people can live with personalised support as they build independence and prepare for adult life.
The Home
Set across three storeys, the home includes a lounge, kitchen and dining area, a quiet space on the top floor, shared bathroom facilities, and dedicated office space for staff. A private driveway and spacious rear garden add to the comfort and practicality of the environment.
Our Approach
Being based in a residential neighbourhood helps young people feel part of the community from the start of their placement, encouraging inclusion, reducing isolation, and promoting positive relationships with neighbours and the wider community.
Support and Standards
The smaller setting allows staff to provide more personalised support in a safe and secure environment. The home is regularly checked and maintained to a high standard, meeting the requirements of Regulation 6 – The Accommodation Standard and the Housing Act 2004.
Preparing for Adulthood
Young people are supported to understand their responsibilities, develop independence, and build the practical skills they need for the next stage of their journey.
Location and Access
With local bus routes and a train station within walking distance, young people can easily access education, employment, training, health services, leisure opportunities, shops, and important family and community connections.
